Not everyone is happy to get up close and personal with Pepe. If your skunk interactions end up on the more fragrant side, our staff can provide de-odourising baths. We also provide skunk-off shampoos and sprays for those "do it at homers!"
His Professional Memberships include:
Ontario Veterinary Medical Association
American Animal Hospital Association
American Association Of Feline Practioners
Royal College of Veterinary Medicine (U.K.)
The menagerie of Dr. Belovich currently includes two spoiled house cats, Mouse and Benjamin Bratt, and a yellow nape Amazon parrot that calls himself Scooter Bird and a crazy poodle known as Havavna.
At the clinic you can find "Havavna" ready to greet new and old friends as well as "Pippa" the resident gerbil.
Dr. Belovich spends much of his recreational time training to ride cross country and dressage on his horse, "Weekend Endevour aka Deven". Additional interests include: reading, travelling, scuba diving , and theatre.
As an active member of the Spanky Project, a Not for Profit Organization, Dr Belovich is involved in the organizing of humanitarian veterinary projects in Cuba.
Cuba and Canada have a growing friendship and nowhere is that more evident than the historical visit to Havana by three Ontario Veterinarians. November 29th to December 6th 2010 marked the first Cuban Canadian Veterinary Cooperation Week. With special Cooperation Visas in hand Drs. Michele Travers, Linda Pallett and Michael Belovich along with organizer Terry Shewcuk of the Spanky Project (spankyproject.blogspot.com) flew to Havana from Pearson Airport on Air Cubana, stumbling into the Plaza Hotel at 4 am Sunday November 29th after having becoming rather too well acquainted with customs officials at the José Martín International Airport!
Please feel free to email Dr. Michael Belovich at info@torontopetvet.com for more information on helping the Spanky Project in Cuba and fundraising efforts.
